Commercial Management Accountant – 2 year fixed term, full time contract

Hybrid working, including three days in our Leeds based project office.

Summary:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Management Accountant to join Bradford Low Carbon Hydrogen Limited (BLCH) and play a pivotal role in delivering one of the UK’s largest low carbon hydrogen production facilities.

BLCH is the largest scheme to be subsidised from the Government’s first Hydrogen Allocation Round, which aims to bridge the gap between the cost of hydrogen and counter factual fossil fuels. The trailblazing facility, based in the heart of Bradford, comprises hydrogen production, storage and fuelling facilities and once operational will produce up to 12.5 tonnes of low carbon hydrogen daily.

In addition to a proven track record and qualification in management accounting, the successful candidate will ideally have experience of working on a Contract for Difference (CfD) within the electricity industry (the same mechanism now being used to stimulate hydrogen production).

BLCH is a Joint Venture partnership between hydrogen production developers Hygen Energy and N-Gen Energy Solutions.
